Re: Tenderness Group in Western & Central Massachusetts

I'm not sure exactly where the story is in this. It seems tame. Are you with the Sentinel? I live in the area and have met Dr. Massey so I did some digging.

Tenderness Gathering Place is the name they call the property in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Property owner appears to be a Dr. Daron Massey, a psychiatrist employed by the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Dr. Massey and his wife were former members of Enlighten Next out in Lenox. Lots of people living at the property currently, its some sort of boarding house situation. Originally assumed it was an HAI offshoot, since Raellen Massey was hosting cuddle party (pay for sex parties) at the property in 2017 but either that has stopped or the advertising of it has been on the downlow as of late. The cuddle parties are what originally caught my attention.

Dr. Massey has recently been involved with a hoopla over zoning and trying to rezone the property as a campground and event venue and trying to get town laws rewritten so he can run events for recruiting. He holds lots of events meant to draw the public in for recruiting, seems to be escalating in the past year. Local authorities dont seem to know about the shady aspects or are just ignoring it. LGBT event scheduled for there this summer. Definitely knows his stuff and how to draw people in for recruitment. Targets upper middle class liberal, hippie types.

Good luck talking to any current or former members- they're tightlipped about details. I have spoken to Dr. Massey myself at one of the group's events and its nearly impossible to get a direct answer from him. Lots of talk of charity and giving and community and arts but what their end goal is is still unclear.

Recruitment seems broad- events aimed at the LGBT community and arts and families with children. Theres an LGBT Pride event coming up in a few months there. His most passionate supporters seem to be older single women. Havent seen any signs of it being a destructive cult or abuse, at least not yet, although all of the ingredients are there, and I havent gotten to talk to any members about details.
