You would not know because all the bad shit is hidden from you.

What distinguishes a cult from the US Marine Corps or from another religion is
DECEIT.

We are not told up front the full commitment demanded of us once we become disciples.

We are not told what GODHIMSELF has described.

When we are newbies, we a greeted by lovely young people who do not themselves know how Butler will suck the life out of them and turn them into parents who
will neglect their children and ship them off to a SOI boarding school.

THese lovely young persons are not yet eating out of dumpsters, living below the poverty line.

They do not even know they have been "weaponized" by Butler and turned into "deployable agents" - recruiters for Butler's cult.

When you are a happy new member of a cult, knowing only what the cult leader has told you, you, without knowing it, become an advertisement and enticement for the group.

Without even knowing it, anyone who loves you, trusts you, follows your recommendations is at high risk of being exposed to deceitful cult recruitment.

It all happens when you are happy, you are a new member and you talk about the wonderful things your guru sponsors:

* Free meditation classes.

* A Vedic cooking class. A yoga retreat.

* A free picnic and kirtan fest on a lovely Hawaiian beach.

Corboy note: any time you see or hear of 'free meditation classes' or a 'free feast and kirtan' please get in the habit of doing background checks on these
things.

Nothing in this life is free. Everything has to be paid for. Get involved with a group that offers 'free meditation classes' and eventually you will be expected to support them. Printing paper fliers, distributing them, renting space for classes - none of that is cost free.

You will be astounded to learn how many of these events are sponsored by organizations and gurus that are listed as cults and have generated harm reports.

This is not being negative or cynical. This is protecting yourself.

People like Butler are the ones who are negative and cynical.

And the ones how recruit for exploitative groups and use free meditation classes as a front - that is as cynical as it gets.

Fact checking is real empowerment.
