Eric Allen Bell resents being called a cult leader. He has said this repeatedly, and, maybe he is not a cult leader. However, some of the evidence of his cult leader behavior still awaits an explanation from him.
For example, there is the bounty. Eric is claiming the confusion about the bounty, and the numeral on it was due to a “fog”. It is true there was a lot going on, including multiple death threats on Facebook. He had to think quickly, and ensure no one around him was in jeopardy of becoming collateral damage in a jihad attack on him. But, this is simply not an adequate explanation.
Tommy Hunt explicitly told Eric Allen Bell in early October of 2012 that the numeral on the bounty was not ten million. Eric suppressed this information about the bounty for nearly a year before finally admitting the bounty was not real. Then, nearly 18 months later, he claimed the bounty was real. And, today, he has flipped again, and returned his “fog” explanation without ever addressing his communication with Tommy Hunt. Also not explained, is the fact that none of his thousands of followers noticed that the numeral on the bounty was not ten million.
This is an example of Eric Allen Bell getting people to see things that are not there, and accept explanations that are obviously unsatisfactory.
Then there is the case of Clark Banner. Somehow, Eric persuaded Clark Banner to defend Eric’s tirades against Jews. This was after Clark had vehemently and publically clashed with Eric’s anti-Jewish statements. No one knows what Eric said to Clark in private. No one knows why Eric would even want to do this to Clark.
The Clark Banner episode is another example of Eric using his influence to turn his followers against people and things Eric does not like. We have seen him do this with me, Pamela Geller, the Counter Jihad Movement, Jews, Christians, and even his own parents.
Further evidence of trying to incite violence against others is . . .
Eric Allen Bell's 2013 Twitter campaign to #NuketheKaaba.
For the better part of April into the beginning of May 2013 Eric Allen Bell tried to generate support on Twitter for his idea to nuke the Kaaba.
This idea went from a small step, to a huge step in a heartbeat.
Eric characterized his call to mass murder as courageous.
Like any good scoundrel, Eric claimed his call for mass murder was in the interest of human rights.
But, his real motivation was obvious.
Eric’s bloodlust was not confined to just the Kaaba.
Islam must be destroyed because it is "insane". How long will it be before Eric is telling his followers that I must be destroyed, and nuked because I am "insane"?
One wag got into the swing of things by replying – “Naplam!”
While others tried to talk sense.
Eric stuck to his guns, or bombs as the case may be, and said.

Presumably, the reason Eric wanted to use “nukes” instead of conventional explosives is that it would render the area radioactive. But, the prevailing winds would have carried the fallout south, beyond Mecca, to all of Africa, and eastward reaching China, and India.
Eric's call for a nuclear world war was (dare I say it?) an insane idea from someone who is consumed with rage, and has a following of thousands, and thousands, and thousands of people.

“Yes. We must nuke it. Hundreds of millions would likely lose faith.”
“The free world will eventually have to bomb the Kaaba.”
“One small step for man. One giant leap for human rights.”
This idea went from a small step, to a huge step in a heartbeat.

“It takes courage and clarity to do the right thing. Sooner or later the civilized world will nuke the Kaaba. It is an inevitability.”
“Sooner, or later, leaders of the civilized world will have to examine the many features and benefits of finding the courage to #NukeTheKaaba”
Like any good scoundrel, Eric claimed his call for mass murder was in the interest of human rights.
But, his real motivation was obvious.

“We need to destroy the Kaaba. It is in the Free World’s best interest to destroy the Saudi Royal family and all Islamic bases of power. Sooner, or later, this must be done”
“No Islamic country can be trusted with nukes. We will inevitably be forced to destroy Iran and Pakistan, eventually, or perish.”
“Islam must be destroyed.”

“I agree with you in principle. However, I don’t think the nuking of the Kaaba will ‘destroy Islam’. All it will do is probably kill lots of folks, and make Muslims around the world become more convinced they are right, leading to all out war, and more, and more will die. ”
